Light the tip of your sage bundle until it catches a steady flame. Let it burn for a few seconds, then gently blow out the flame, allowing a stream of aromatic smoke to rise from the bundle.
Hold a fire-safe dish or abalone shell underneath to catch ashes. Use your hand, a feather, or fan to gently waft the sacred smoke throughout your space, moving with intention from room to room or around specific objects.
